With regards to schools and children friendly environments, are there any specifically regulations with regards to children?
There are no specific regulations in regards to children. Our coating is completely safe to interact with (on any way) after its application, this is due to the extreme hardness of our coating. There is no migration possible (tested), therefore there is also no need for any sort of poison control or special regulations.
How does one test if the coating is still active, and does it become less effective over time?

For the initial and/or subsequent applications, does the product need to be applied by a professional?
We advise that our coating is applied by a professional, preferably one who has been assigned by ourselves, this in order to maintain our quality standards.
Does the naked eye see the product was applied? Examples would be shininess, glare, discoloration, etc.?
If applied according to our standards there will be no visibility of the coating, not even on glass or mirrors.
