Any coating is always subject to abrasion. PretainCoat™ shows an extreme hardness, for that reason we give comfortable a guarantee of 1 year. When there is no abrasion the coating will easily last up to 10 years. The best way to check if the operation of the coating is still functional is to either use an ATP system using a swab test on the treated surface or use a special type of powder, which will discolor when coming in contact with the coated surface, if the coating is still active.
